Why group training:
Let’s be honest. One of the greatest benefits of group training is that it is cost efficient. Even a group of 2 people might cost you less than when you would train alone.
However, that is not the only reason to group train. Group training is great if you find a great group of people who can motivate each other. Other people in your group can get you up and going during the times it gets tough. We all know that there are times during your workouts when you just don’t see the results or you just feel exhausted. Other people can encourage you and help you get through that ‘bump’ on the road.
Group training is different from the exercise classes where the trainer/instructor is not able to focus on individuals. With group training, you will still have a individualized training program with the benefits of lower cost and personal cheerleaders!
You might be able to work out with people you don’t know yet and form friendships. Occasionally, I may offer group training to clients who are on a similar level. I usually design workout plans that involve interval training. It is fun and different from regular personal training sessions.
What does it mean to you:
It means that you can do a workout together with your significant other and connect with them while working towards a common goal of a healthier life style. I have to be honest, one of my favorite times to go to the gym is when I work out with my partner. You will have someone other than your trainer who will motivate you to come work out and push harder.
Some of you may be really excited about this last one: it also means that you will save money!
